The Burien Arts Association invited twenty artists to each create twenty works of art; each

piece fitting on a 20cm x 20cm piece of plywood.  My entry was slipcast ceramic mixed-media

sculptures, and I titled the collection "Efflorescet," which means "I boom" in Latin.  The show

was a fundraiser for the association, with 50% of the proceeds donated back to Burien Arts.
